What is Hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy (also known as aquatic therapy) uses the principles of water to allow exercise in a low-impact environment. The buoyancy of the water may allow individuals to perform more exercise when compared to land-based exercise. The intensity of exercises can be varied by changing speed, turbulence, surface area, and depth of water.
