Centre Update: Heavy Rainfall across Penrith City

Ripples St Marys on a wet and rainy day

With continued significant rainfall and flooding continuing across Penrith City, Ripples operations have been modified to ensure the safety of our Members, Community and Staff.

Update as at: 10 March 2022, 5:30pm
Ripples St Marys will remain closed due to the impacts of flooding and heavy rain on our building. We have contractors onsite repairing the damage. We anticipate being able to reopen at the end of next week, however, we do not have a confirmed reopening date at this time.

We understand this news will be disappointing to our valued members and community who use our facility and programs. The safety of our members, community and staff is our highest priority and this is not a decision we have taken lightly.

To help reduce the impacts of our closure, some programs have been modified;
  • All direct debits have been paused and upfront memberships will have additional time added to their expiry date.
  • Aqua Aerobics classes will move to Ripples Penrith starting Monday 14 March
  • Squad sessions will also move to Ripples Penrith
  • Baby and weekday morning Learn to Swim classes will run from the hydrotherapy centre. All other Learn to Swim classes have been cancelled
 While our land-based fitness programs are affected by the gym closure, we will be temporarily including pool access into our gym-only memberships to help keep everyone active. It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new!
Ripples Hydrotherapy Centre, Ripples Penrith and St Clair Leisure Centre remain open.

Thank you to our members and community for your patience and understanding as we navigated these storms. We look forward to being able to welcome everyone back and will provide more information about our reopening next week.
