UPDATE: The Hydrotherapy Centre will be closed on Tuesday 22nd April to Sunday 4th May for maintenance.
Due to unforeseen works that have been identified as part of the work already completed, it has been determined to extend the closure of the Hydrotherapy Centre to allow for this critical work to be undertaken.
This means that the Hydrotherapy Centre will now be closed from Tuesday 22nd April to Sunday 4th May, with the reopening to normal operations on Monday 5th May 2025.
Council regrets the inconvenience this disruption may cause to your routine and look forward to returning to service on Monday 5th May.
As a part of the continued focus to deliver safe venues, scheduled maintenance works are due for the Hydrotherapy Centre. These annual works are essential to endeavouring to preserve the longevity of the pool plant and the equipment to deliver accurate and safe water chemistry.
How we manage the works required for this asset, has changed and it has been identified that a longer than anticipated closure period is required to ensure all works are carried out as per the specialist contractor’s recommendations.
During this period, we encourage you to visit our indoor venue at St Marys or the Penrith Ripples venue, both of which are available as our seasonal operations.
Our Pool and Full Facility memberships include access to all our pools where you can enjoy a variety of services including lanes available for general walking. These amenities can accommodate exercise, and rehabilitation needs and to assist with accessibility during the closure.
Learn to Swim classes that usually take place in the Hydrotherapy centre will relocate to St Marys Indoor pool.
Membership holds are available if you would prefer to suspend your membership while the Hydrotherapy facility is unavailable. You can request a suspension by filling out the Suspension Form.
We are committed to providing you with a safe and high-quality experience at our facilities and thank you for your understanding and patience.
