Update: Temporary closure of St Marys Indoor Pool

We are getting ready to reopen the indoor pool!

The indoor pool at Ripples St Marys has been closed while we have been completing major repair works due to an unexpected failure of the water maintenance systems.

Initial estimates indicated that we would be able to reopen in late May or early June, and all efforts continue to be made to complete the works in a timely fashion. The process of refilling the pool began on Wednesday, May 22, however, there is still much to be done to prepare the pool for our community.

Over the next few days, the pool will continue to be filled and we expect to commence water sanitisation, treatment, and heating during the week commencing Monday, May 27. Given current ambient temperatures, bringing the pool up to the required temperatures may take some time. We will provide a further update in the coming days with a confirmed timeline for reopening.

Aquatic programs that have been relocated while the indoor pool is closed will continue to operate from these spaces until the indoor pool is reopened.
